Day Camps

Close to home and just as fun!  Day Camp is the one of the first steps in the Scouting outdoor program. It’s a week of fun, advancement, and adventure at a camp or park close to home. Each day’s program is filled with a variety of exciting activities including water sports, archery, BB Gun shooting, nature, crafts, games, and sports all designed to enhance the Cub’s experience.  Program activities vary by location.  Not every location will offer every activity.

"Under the Sea" is this year's theme, and Kristina Matthews is running all three day camps. She can be reached at

Your Cubs will attend camp with adult leaders recruited from your Pack. There is always some type of family event planned during camp that you may participate in. Of course, you’re welcome to attend the entire week of camp with your Scout, or just come and spend a day.

Discount pricing is available for parents who wish to volunteer, or for families with multiple attendees.

Family Camping

Family Camp Weekends are for the whole family and everyone gets to join in on the fun and excitement.

This year, Family Camp Weekend will be held July 19-21 at Camp Bedford.

This event falls under the Family Camping Program. Therefore, it is required that each Scout have an adult in attendance with them. Families with multiple children need only have one adult for all.

Want to be part of the fun? There are plenty of volunteer opportunities at the Family Camp Weekends. Please fill out and submit the Staff Application to become part of the team.
